1.00 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Specifically aimed at the Two Way Exposed Grid market, Acoustics offers a variety of panels for both standard and non-standard module sizes. The Australiana Range has four different profiles, Square, Flush, Macquarie and Bold for standard 600 x 600 and 1200 x 600 modules while the basic square edged panels can be manufactured for non standard sizes also.

AUSTRALIANA SQUARE profile simply sits on the grid with the panel face in the same plane as the panel edge.

AUSTRALIANA FLUSH profile has the panel face in the same plane as the bottom on the grid. There is an optional face pattern (Lachlan) which has 40mm wide by 3mm high perforated grooves pressed in a longitudinal direction. Please contact a technical representative for more information.

AUSTRALIANA MACQUARIE profile has the panel face 3mm below the grid. There is an option in the 1200 x 600 panel to have a centre bar pressed through the middle which gives the appearance of two 600 x 600 panels.

AUSTRALIANA BOLD profile has the panel face 10mm below the grid. This panel is standard only in a 600 x 600 module to suit 14mm faced grid.

1.01 TILE INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL:

Panels are simply installed from underneath by passing the panel at an angle through the diagonal of the grid opening and then lowering the panel into place. Removal of the panel is the reverse of the above procedure.

1.02 GRID SET OUT:

Panels suit most steel and aluminium exposed grids on the market. Please refer to their recommendations.
